Our Casual Coach is a key team member for Junior Sport / Sport Systems team, and associated areas of Cardiff Met Sport. They assist with the delivery of the Junior sports programmes and ensure that the needs of participants are met.
Responsibilities
* Assisting the Lead Coaches and wider Cardiff Met Junior Sport team in the delivery of high-quality sport sessions.
* Supporting our participants in their development across a range of age groups and development levels.
* Collaborating with the Lead Coach to develop and refine programmes, offering feedback on what is working well and what could be improved.
What You’ll Bring
You’ll use your previous experience of coaching and working within a sport environment, and your understanding of the importance of customer care, to provide an outstanding service to our participants. Your knowledge of industry standards and national governing body policies will ensure that our programmes are both safe and of the highest standard.
Qualifications
* A Level 1 Coaching Qualification (or above) in a relevant sport or activity.
* Superb team working skills, able to work effectively as part of a team to deliver the best outcomes for participants.
* Experience working with customers and parents.
