NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.
The shift pattern for this post is Monday – Friday with occasional weekends and on call duties.
Exciting opportunities exist for dynamic, enthusiastic FM professionals to take on key roles leading Soft FM services within geographical sectors of NHSGGC.
You will work closely with the Head of FM Operations to coordinate, manage and implement all aspects of Soft Facilities Management by providing direction and professional and technical leadership across clinical and non clinical services within the Sector
The post holder will have a lead role in ensuring national and statutory requirements and for maintaining all aspects of statutory compliance at Sector level whilst also ensuring consistent high quality service levels and a focus on service improvement.
You will be educated to degree level in relevant subject area: or degree in any subject plus post graduate qualification in relevant subject area.
You should be an experienced line manager who can demonstrate achievements in motivating their teams, creating and maintaining a culture of high performance and operating to best in class standards through effective people management. You must also have FM experience within a large scale complex environment, preferably healthcare, along with having good problem solving capability, excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
