Quality Head
A Senior Leadership opportunity has arisen for a leader within Quality to join an innovative organisation within the life sciences sector.
As Quality Head, you will hold a pivotal leadership position, reporting directly to COO, and engaging regularly with the Board. You will be responsible for shaping and executing the organisation's quality strategy, ensuring compliance, operational excellence and continuous improvement across all functions.
You will lead a large Quality function, with direct reports overseeing key verticals such as QA and QC.
You will:
* Own the Quality strategy: Define and drive the long-term vision for Quality, including setting objectives, managing the budget and shaping the future of the function
* Lead all Quality functions: Oversee all areas within Quality, including QA and QC
* Influence and collaborate across the organisation, working closely with key stakeholders to embed quality into every aspect of operations
* Balance strategic with hands-on leadership: Combine high-level strategic oversight with active engagement in day-to-day operations, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement
* Develop and Empower your Team: Support, and mentor a high performing Quality team
You will have:
* Advanced degree in Life Sciences
* Extensive experience in Quality leadership within a biotech or advanced therapies environment
* Proven experience in ATMPs, Biologics, Vaccines, or Oligonucleotides
* Demonstrated ability to lead leaders: As you will be leading a large Quality function, you should already have experience managing managers
* Track record of strategic impact, balancing high-level vision with hands-on leadership to nurture talent and drive transformation
