Home Instead provides non‑medical care and companionship services for older adults. Caregivers visit clients at their homes for a minimum of one hour per appointment.
Responsibilities
* Visit clients in their homes to provide companionship and emotional support.
* Assist with daily living activities and promote clients’ autonomy and independence.
* Use a personalised approach that builds trust through shared interests and hobbies.
* Provide a comfortable and supportive environment for clients throughout their visits.
Qualifications
* No previous care experience required.
* Friendly, compassionate, and good listening skills.
* Flexible schedule with availability for evening shifts (16:45 – 22:00) and alternating weekends.
* Reliable transportation for travel to the South side of Hereford if required.
Compensation and Working Hours
Pay ranges from £14.75 to £16.50 per hour. The role is part‑time, 15 hours per week, including the specified evening hours and alternating weekends. Additional hours are available for candidates willing to travel to South Hereford.
