Job Description:
Our client is an international manufacturing and materials processing organisation, with multiple sites across the UK. This position will focus on their manufacturing facilities in the South of England - Gloucestershire, Northamptonshire, and Sussex. You will be responsible for all Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality requirements across 5/6 manufacturing plants.
Within this role, you will oversee both the strategic development and practical application of HSEQ processes and systems, engaging with key stakeholders from operations and site leadership to production staff.

The role involves developing the company's Health and Safety / SHEQ strategy to ensure legislative compliance and fostering a strong HSEQ culture. This includes creating policies that are actively implemented within the organization through systematic and cultural change, engaging teams and stakeholders to develop pragmatic safety solutions, and promoting a culture of ownership and responsibility.
Key requirements of SHEQ Coordinator:
* Experience in managing and developing Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality strategies within heavy industrial manufacturing, engineering, or environmental sectors
* Ability to operate both strategically and tactically, providing hands-on support such as RAMS and SOPs
* Strong H&S knowledge, supported by Nebosh certificate or equivalent
* Experience in developing and improving management systems aligned with ISO standards such as OHSAS 18001, ISO 45001, 14001, 9001
* Proven ability to develop and implement improvement plans for H&S activities
* Multi-site experience is desirable but not essential
* Experience working in an industrial or heavy industry environment
