[What the role is]
As a member of our Biology Division team, you will play a critical role in conducting serological testing, screening and DNA profiling on evidence submitted by law enforcement agencies, participate in lab improvement/ research projects through digital solutions and assist in developing/ validating new technologies/ methods.
[What you will be working on]
* Examination for biological fluids using chemical and serological tests
* Conduct DNA analysis of crime samples
* Assist in lab improvement/research projects through digital solutions
* Assist scientists in developing/validating new technologies/methods
* Supporting laboratory administrative duties such as equipment maintenance, inventory management, procurement of consumables, and preparation of laboratory reagents/supplies
* Adhering to stringent quality control and quality assurance protocols, and assisting in laboratory quality assurance duties such as checking for expiry dates, conduct of basic performance checking tests
[What we are looking for]
* Background in Biology/Biomedical Science/Biotechnology (or equivalent)
* Successfully completed supervised laboratory research in project in biochemistry.molecular biology area
* Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask
* Collaborative team player with the capability to work independently, showcasing a proactive approach
* Proficient in digital and data analytic skill will be an advantage (e.g. Power Automate and Power Apps, SQL, Python, Tableau).
