Senior Analyst – FTSE250 FinTech
Propel is partnering with a publicly traded, high-growth FinTech that’s transforming the way people invest. With over 300,000 customers across multiple countries and a product suite spanning stocks, crypto, and emerging asset classes, they’re on a mission to scale fast and open up investing to a wider, more diverse audience.
They’re looking for a Senior Data Analyst to take full ownership of marketing and growth data, turning complex datasets into clear, actionable insight that shapes acquisition, engagement, and retention strategies across the business.
This is a high-visibility role where you’ll blend technical depth with commercial impact - building data pipelines, optimising experiments, and helping senior leaders make smarter, data-driven decisions.
What you’ll be doing:
* Own the data for marketing and growth - building reliable pipelines and dashboards that keep performance metrics clear and accessible.
* Analyse campaign performance across digital channels and customer journeys to surface insights that drive growth and retention.
* Model key metrics such as acquisition cost, lifetime value, and attribution to support smarter investment decisions.
* Design and run A/B and multivariate tests end-to-end to understand what truly moves the needle.
* Collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing teams to translate insight into action - helping shape the strategy that fuels the next stage of growth.
* Be the go-to for all things marketing data, enabling self-serve analytics and reducing reporting bottlenecks.
What we’re looking for:
* 5+ years’ experience in analytics, ideally covering both data and business insight within a fast-paced environment.
* Strong SQL skills with experience building and maintaining data pipelines (dbt, Airflow, or similar).
* Comfortable working with marketing and growth data - experience with tools like Optimizely, Amplitude, or GA a plus.
* Proven experience designing and analysing A/B tests and creating robust marketing or product KPIs.
* Skilled with visualisation tools (Looker, Tableau, or similar).
* Confident communicator able to translate technical findings into actionable recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
The practical info:
* Location: London-based
* Hybrid: 3 days in-office
* circa £80,000 DOE (this can be discussed further)
* Competitive wider benefits package
In a nutshell:
If you’re an analyst who loves building robust data foundations and connecting them to real-world growth decisions - and you want to work in a business where your insights shape strategy at pace - this one’s for you.
