Contract type: Fixed Term- TTO (term time only)
Salary: FTE £25,583 Actual: £17,994
Term Time Only Contracts will occur a salary adjustment if the start date is after 1st September.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and multi-skilled School Technician to support our Science, Art and Food Technology departments.
This is an exciting opportunity for a practical, organised and safety-conscious individual to play a key role in supporting high-quality teaching and learning across a range of creative and technical subjects.
The successful candidate will:
Prepare and maintain equipment, materials and resources for practical lessons.
Support teachers and students during hands-on activities.
Ensure all areas meet health, safety and hygiene standards.
Maintain inventories, manage stock and carry out routine maintenance.
Undertake First Aid and Fire Marshal duties, exam invigilation and reprographics tasks.
You’ll need strong practical and organisational skills, good attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments. Experience in a school or technical setting is desirable but training will be provided as needed.
