Finance Business Partner

We’re delighted to be supporting a leading UK food manufacturer in the search for a Finance Business Partner for their Herefordshire operation. This is a permanent opportunity.
As the Finance Business Partner, you’ll lead the site finance function and play a key role in delivering robust financial governance, insightful reporting and effective business partnering across one of the organisation’s largest processing facilities.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the finance function for the site, ensuring strong financial control and governance.
* Work closely with the Site Manager, Senior Leadership Team, Operations Reporting Manager, Operations Business Partner and Central Finance.
* Produce weekly and monthly site reporting, including P&L, KPIs, commentary and bridges to Budget/WoW.
* Uphold strict financial controls across the site in line with accounting standards.
* Provide regular expenditure analysis to the Site Manager and Budget Holders, with clear insights versus Budget.
* Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring appropriate treatment of accruals and provisions.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date product standards.
* Lead the annual site budgeting process and deliver reforecasts as required.
* Manage and report the Profit Improvement Plan (PIP) tracker to the site management team.
* Produce ad-hoc analysis and reporting when required.
* Provide holiday cover for other sites when necessary.
What We’re Looking For
* ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, ideally with 3–5 years’ PQE gained within FMCG or a similar fast-moving environment.
* Strong financial acumen, with expertise in cost management, financial analysis and value creation.
* Proven experience supporting and influencing operational teams.
* Demonstrated ability to manage, coach and lead a finance team.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
* Strong commercial awareness and strategic thinking capabilities.
* Confident building strong working relationships across multiple functions.
* Able to articulate issues with clarity and conviction.
