3. Secure knowledge of the ALNET Act 2018 and person-centred practice
4. A thorough understanding of safeguarding practices and procedures
5. The ability to plan strategically and manage workload effectively
6. Strong communication skills, including the ability to work positively with parents, carers, colleagues and external agencies
7. Experience of supporting early identification, assessment and planning for learners with ALN
8. The ability to advise on strategies, interventions and inclusive classroom practice
9. A commitment to raising standards of achievement, behaviour and pupil outcomes
10. Strong ICT, literacy and numeracy skills
11. A professional, organised and flexible approach
12. The ability to demonstrate sensitivity, confidentiality and sound judgement
13. Welsh second language skills would be desirable
14. A recognised SEN/ALN qualification or relevant experience would be desirable
