Junior Accountant – Full-Time, office based.
Location: Hedge End, Southampton
Salary: £28,000 starting, rising to £30,000 after successful 3-month probation
Hours: 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities
* Process supplier and customer invoices
* Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
* Handle customer service queries, issue credit notes, and manage credit control
* Support month-end processes and contribute to reporting
* Assist with bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance
* Work closely with both internal teams and external suppliers/customers
* Gain experience across all areas of transactional finance
* Be open and committed to ongoing learning and development
What We're Looking For
* Minimum AAT Level 2 (or equivalent experience)
* 1–3 years of experience in an accounts-based role
* Proficient in SAGE and Microsoft Excel
* Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
* A proactive, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Ability to manage time across multiple responsibilities
