Location: Bolton, Greater Manchester
Salary: Up to £65,000 + multiple bonus structures
Service Type: 2-bed Children’s Residential Home (SEBD & LD)
Provider: Family-run, new start-up home with an RI already in place
We are seeking an experienced Ofsted Registered Manager to lead a new children’s residential home, ensuring high-quality care, safeguarding, and full regulatory compliance. You’ll oversee daily operations, develop staff, manage resources, and create a safe, nurturing environment for children and young people.

Lead the full Ofsted registration process
Manage the home in line with regulations and best practice
Oversee safeguarding, care plans and risk assessments
Recruit, train and supervise staff
Maintain accurate records and regulatory compliance
Work with families, professionals and external agencies
Manage budgets and support inspection readinessEssential Requirements for the Ofsted Registered Manager
2+ years’ residential childcare experience
1+ year managing staff (within last 5 years)
Level 5 Residential Childcare (or working towards)
Strong knowledge of Ofsted standards & safeguarding
Effective leadership, communication and decision-making skills
Experience of positive Ofsted outcomes
