Clinical Administrator

This post is within a service identified as being in scope for a service improvement and redesign programme. Service delivery models, roles and structures will be reviewed as part of the improvement process, which may result in changes and a consultation process in line with the Trust's Organisational Change Policy.
All processes will be undertaken in accordance with the Trust's Organisational Change Policy, including engagement with affected staff and consideration of suitable alternative employment where applicable.
The post holder will provide a comprehensive administration and information service to the Early Intervention service within the Mental Health Network, coordinating their activities with other members of the Business Administration Team to ensure an efficient and confidential service is provided.
The post holder will be aligned to a specific team and is required to work flexibly in response to the needs of the Networks administrative service providing cover to departments on various sites as directed by their Admin Manager to ensure continuity of a quality service provision.
Main duties of the job
* Excellent organisational skills, ability to work independently or as part of a wider admin team.
* Communicate with staff, service users, visitors and carers in a professional manner.
* Computer literate; proficient with Microsoft Office packages and possess a good telephone manner.

Job responsibilities
Provide comprehensive administrative support for the Early Intervention service within the Mental Health Network. Coordinate activities with the Business Administration Team to ensure efficient, confidential service delivery. Work flexibly across different sites as directed by the Admin Manager to maintain continuity and quality of service provision.
Qualifications
* NVQ Level 3 in Customer Care or Business Administration - or equivalent experience.
* Demonstrable commitment to continuous personal development.
Knowledge
* Knowledge of a range of administrative procedures and practice.
* Working with Microsoft Office applications.
Experience
* Previous experience as a Secretary/Administrator including diary management.
* Ability to communicate effectively at all levels using email, telephone or face-to-face.
