London Metropolitan University is seeking a Digital Marketing Assistant to support the effective delivery of the University’s marketing activities. This role is central to the Marketing and Communications team and involves significant responsibility for website management, including maintaining and reviewing content, supporting users of the content management system, and ensuring consistency with brand and accessibility standards. The successful candidate will be highly organised, possess strong communication skills, and demonstrate a willingness to learn and develop their digital expertise. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the University’s digital presence while gaining valuable experience in a supportive and professional environment. The post holder will help coordinate major marketing projects to support the managed growth and diversification strand of the University’s strategy. They will work on initiatives spanning brand, content, website, campaigns, data and insight, as well as carrying out administrative duties such as scheduling meetings, managing shared inboxes, and triaging marketing requests and enquiries. Reporting into the Digital Manager, the post holder will play a crucial role in managing the University’s digital presence, including contributing to digital content creation, course portfolio management and web publishing support.
