The purpose of the role is to ensure the accurate, timely, and compliant invoicing for all clients. This role will involve managing the end-to-end invoicing process from job completion validation and billing generation to client query resolution and month-end reporting.
Duties will include, but not limited to:
Overseeing the preparation, validation, and issuance of all client invoices in accordance with contract terms and service-level agreements.
Ensuring accuracy and completeness of all billing data, reconciling against job orders, work schedules, and supporting documentation.
Maintaining and updating invoicing templates, billing codes, and financial records within the accounting/ERP system.
Supporting revenue recognition processes and ensuring invoices are aligned with financial reporting periods.
Primary point of contact for client billing queries and disputes, ensuring prompt and professional resolution.
Other ad hoc duties as required.
The person:
Previous experience in an invoicing or billing management role within facilities management, construction, or a service-based business is essential .
Experience with financial software, ERP systems and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, data validation, etc.) is essential.
Experience in managing or supervising staff is required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments and with clients, are essential.
