Overview
Theatre Royal Plymouth has an incredible line-up of festive performances this season, and we’re looking for enthusiastic Hospitality Assistants to help bring the magic to life! As part of our vibrant Catering, Events and Retail team, you’ll be right at the heart of the action – working across our lively bars, cafés, and backstage Green Room. From serving barista-style coffees and tasty treats to pouring interval drinks and selling merchandise, you’ll deliver warm, friendly service that makes every theatre visit unforgettable.
We’re offering fixed-term seasonal roles starting the week commencing 24 November 2025, with shifts ranging between three and a half to five hours. Work will include afternoons, evenings and weekends, and during this busy period you’ll enjoy a fast-paced, fun environment with plenty of variety. Over Christmas and New Year, including Boxing Day, there may be opportunities for close to full-time hours, and when the festive season comes to an end on 10 January 2026, there’s the potential to remain as a permanent member of our team.
To join us, you’ll need to be friendly, flexible and reliable, able to commit to at least three shifts a week (including one weekend day), and available across the whole festive period. Applicants must also be over the age of 18 when employment commences.
The deadline for applications is 9.00am on Tuesday 11 November 2025. Make this festive season extra special – join our team and be part of the magic!
