LEAD CONTROLS & AUTOMATION ENGINEER – RUGBY

You’ll lead the design, development, testing, and commissioning of PLC, HMI, and automation systems from concept to sea trials.
What you’ll do:
* Lead control system projects from order to vessel commissioning
* Design PLC, HMI/SCADA, networks, and control architectures
* Develop PLC software (IEC 61131-3) and perform FAT & commissioning
* Act as technical interface with customers, suppliers, and classification societies
What we’re looking for:
* Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Control Engineering (or equivalent experience)
* Strong PLC & automation project experience
* Knowledge of Modbus, OPC-UA, Profibus, Profinet, etc.
* Right to work in the UK
Nice to have:
Chartered status (or working towards), OT cybersecurity, Functional Safety, willingness to travel.
