Title: Revenue Officer
Closing Date: 31 May 2026 at 11:55PM
Location: David Dale House, Blantyre
Hours: 35 hours per week, fixed term for up to 9 months
Salary:£29,326 - £31,625 per year
Responsibilities
* Administration of council tax accounts, processing changes and maintaining liabilities.
* Answer telephone calls from customers enquiring about their accounts and negotiate payment arrangements with those who have council tax arrears.
* Provide comprehensive advice to council residents with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Qualifications & Experience
* Previous experience in debt recovery or council tax administration is preferred.
* Demonstrable ability to work accurately under complex legislative guidance and meet targets.
* Practical knowledge of IT packages including Microsoft Office Suite.
Legislation: This post is excepted in terms of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Scotland Act 2020.
