Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour
Hours: Monday to Thursday 08:00 - 16:00 Friday 08:00 - 12:30

The Role
You will be responsible for the calibration, inspection and verification of a wide range of precision measuring equipment and gauges, ensuring all instrumentation meets strict quality and compliance standards.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong engineering, metrology or quality background who enjoys working within a precision-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Carrying out calibration and inspection of precision measuring equipment
* Recording accurate calibration results and maintaining documentation
* Ensuring all gauges and instrumentation comply with UKAS and quality standards
* Identifying out-of-tolerance equipment and reporting findings
* Supporting quality assurance and continuous improvement activities
* Working to tight tolerances and engineering specifications
* Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
Experience Required
Candidates should have experience using and calibrating a range of measuring equipment including:
* Feeler Gauges
* Gap Gauges
* Height Gauges
* Micrometers
* Ring Gauges
* Screw Caliper Gauges
* Vernier Calipers
Ideal Candidate
* Previous experience within calibration, metrology, quality inspection or quality assurance
* Strong understanding of precision measuring equipment
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
* Good organisational and communication skills
* Experience within automotive, aerospace, manufacturing or engineering environments would be advantageous
