Main duties of the job To lead the co-ordination and delivery of quality assurance to Aseptic Services. To assist the Aseptic Services Accountable Pharmacist to develop the Pharmaceutical Quality System (PQS) for Aseptic Services including but not limited to document control systems, deviation management and quality review. To line manage, support, and oversee the work of the Senior Technician Quality Assurance/ Quality Control (QA/QC) including management of internal audit, environmental monitoring and training of less experienced staff. To review all new and/or amended control documentation used within Aseptic Services, referring areas of concern to the Aseptic Services Accountable Pharmacist, and signing off for use those that meet national standards and GMP Annex 1.
