(NB – The hours are 07:30 - 16:00 Monday to Friday). Role Profile As an experienced welder, this is a hands-on position responsible for the welding of aviation components. Working to tight tolerances, this position will primarily work on productionised components but should also have the flexibility to work on new product introduction. Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities As an experienced welder, you will have: * Experience in fitting small diameter tubes for Orbital welding to precise tolerances. * Trade qualified with a recognised apprenticeship (City and Guilds etc.) * Undertake TIG welding (manual, automatic and Orbital) to aircraft standards to fall in line with welding controls and processes. * Read and interpret Engineering drawings. * Read, interpret and follow batch cards ensuring that batch card discipline is adhered to at all times. * General maintenance of machinery, jigs and fixtures i...
