Role Overview:
TAP Advisors is seeking an experienced Investment Banking Analyst 2 to join its growing London team. Analysts at TAP Advisors play a critical role in supporting deal execution and origination across M&A, private financings, and strategic advisory mandates. Responsibilities will include financial modelling, due diligence, industry analysis, preparation of client-facing materials, and interaction with other transaction advisors. The role offers significant exposure to complex, cross-border transactions and the opportunity to work closely with senior Managing Directors across multiple markets
Candidate Profile:
* Between 6 months and 18 months full-time experience in M&A advisory investment banking at a well-regarded investment bank, boutique, or other advisory firm
* Prior M&A execution experience, ideally within TMT with a preference for Telecom and Digital Infrastructure
* Solid financial modelling and valuation skills, with a robust understanding of core finance concepts
* Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
* Experience conducting due diligence and solving complex analytical problems
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, AI prompting & tools, Bloomberg, Capital IQ, and other financial analysis platforms
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* Ability to work effectively in an entrepreneurial and focused team environment
