This post is to help address the backlog of long waiting General Surgery outpatients between now and end March 2026.

* Bulk of the clinical work will be undertaking New Outpatient clinics.
* Opportunities for endoscopy sessions and operating on long waiting patients.
* No on‑call duties associated with this post.

About The Role
As a locum Consultant in General Surgery, you'll provide expert care and contribute to the delivery of high‑quality services.
Responsibilities
* Supporting junior doctors and clinical staff.
* Contributing to service development and audits.
Essential Qualifications & Skills
* MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
* Full GMC registration with a licence to practise.
* Current Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check or PVG check—or willingness to undergo one.
* UK Right to Work.Strong communication and team‑working skills.
Desirable
* CCT in General Surgery (or within 6 months of achieving it).
