A "Good" rated secondary academy in Birmingham is seeking a passionate and committed MFL Teacher to join their thriving Languages department from January 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled practitioner who can deliver engaging French and/or Spanish lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, and who is eager to contribute to a positive, forward-thinking school community.
The Role
Teach French and/or Spanish across KS3 and KS4
Plan and deliver engaging, culturally rich lessons that inspire language learning
Support learners of mixed abilities through clear differentiation
Use assessment effectively to monitor progress and raise attainment
Maintain high expectations for behaviour and engagement
Contribute to departmental development, curriculum planning, and enrichment
Build strong relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents
We're Looking For
QTS or equivalent relevant teaching qualification
Strong subject knowledge in French and/or Spanish
Experience teaching MFL at KS3 & KS4 (GCSE experience advantageous)
Confident classroom management and ability to motivate learners
A reflective, committed practitioner with high personal and professional standards
Someone who can integrate quickly into a supportive academy environment
