An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Pharmacy Team at Sheffield Children's NHS Foundation Trust. Based at the Trust's acute site, you will work within a supportive team and gain experience across a wide range of paediatric specialities, including neurosurgery, oncology, endocrinology, orthopaedics, neonatal surgery, and more.
About You
* MPharm degree; Pharmacist registered with GPhC (or soon to be registered)
Main duties
Reporting into the Senior Pharmacist, some of your responsibilities will include:
* Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering high-quality medicines optimisation to children across Sheffield, South Yorkshire, and surrounding areas
* Gain experience through a structured rotation programme in Clinical Pharmacy Services across specialist medical and surgical wards
* Participate in operational Pharmacy Services alongside clinical duties
* Provide clinical pharmacy services at the Trust's acute site
* Develop expertise in a wide range of specialities
* Work under the guidance of senior specialist pharmacists within a team of approximately 60 pharmacy staff
* Encouraged to undertake a Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy
* After initial training, participate in the on-call service on a rotational basis, including weekends and Bank Holidays

Qualification & Training
* Essential: Must be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council of Great Britain
* Essential: Vocational master\'s degree in pharmacy pre-registration training and experience. If qualified before 2002, a degree in pharmacy plus 1 year pre-registration training and experience
Desirable: Member of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain; Membership of the Neonatal and Paediatric Pharmacy group (NPPG); IT qualification (e.g., ECDL)
Experience
* Desirable: Hospital pharmacy / Paediatric pharmacy services
Knowledge & Skills
* Essential: Clinical pharmacy; Aware of hospital and national policies and procedures; Clear communication with clinical professionals and patients/parents; Ability to interpret clinical data
Desirable: Capable of teaching other healthcare staff
Personal Attributes
