Contract: Full Time / Permanent

Shift Patterns: 5 out of 7 days, including weekends
*
Rate of Pay: £20.04 - £26.69 per hour
*
Shift Premiums:
o
Saturday: £22.45 per hour
o
Sunday: £29.69 per hour
o
Overtime / Bank Holiday: £29.69 per hour
o
Unsociable Hours: £22.78 per hour
Your Responsibilities
As an HGV Mechanic, your role will include, but is not limited to:
* Inspecting and maintaining our HGV fleet
* Preparing vehicles for MOT testing and transporting them to the test centre
* Recording vehicle defects and maintaining accurate records of work performed
* Repairing minor accident damage
* Conducting fault diagnosis
* Prioritizing safety in all aspects of your work
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should have:
* City & Guilds part 2 & 3 / BTEC / IMI in motor vehicle management or equivalent practical experience in the commercial vehicle industry
* Essential commercial experience with HGVs
* A Class C+E licence is preferable but not essential
* The ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
* Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize your workload
