Senior Housing Officer Location: Livingston (Hybrid working available) Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday Horizon Housing Association, part of Link Group, is committed to creating inclusive communities where disabled people can live independently with choice and control. The Role We are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Housing Officer to help lead the delivery of high-quality housing services and achieve positive outcomes for our tenants and communities. Reporting to the Housing and Communities Manager, you will provide day-to-day leadership to our Housing and Tenancy Sustainment teams, ensuring effective and customer-focused services across tenancy management, income recovery, estate management and tenancy sustainment. You will manage complex housing cases, support vulnerable tenants, promote early intervention approaches and contribute to continuous service improvement. Working closely with colleagues and partners, you will help ensure services remain efficient, responsive and aligned with Horizon's strategic objectives. About You You will hold a CIH Level 3 qualification, equivalent HNC-level qualification, or be willing to work towards this qualification. You will have: Experience managing a broad range of housing management issues, including rent arrears, voids, anti-social behaviour and tenant participation. Knowledge of housing legislation, Housing Benefit, Universal Credit and choice-based lettings. Experience working within a housing association, local authority or similar housing environment. Experience handling complaints and delivering fair, transparent and customer-focused services. The ability to manage complex and sensitive situations effectively. Strong partnership-working skills and experience collaborating with statutory agencies, voluntary organisations and other professional partners. Excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills. A commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion. The role requires travel across Horizon's operating areas.
