We’re looking for an organised and enthusiastic Administrator to join our Regional Services team in Hull. This is an office-based role where you’ll play a crucial part in keeping our services running smoothly and ensuring families receive the support they need. Make a difference every day. What You’ll Be Doing: As our Administrator, you’ll be the friendly, reliable, and organised presence that keeps our office and services running effectively. Your responsibilities will include: Supporting Regional Services Providing efficient administrative support across the region. Updating and maintaining our central database. Assisting with HR and personnel administration. Being a First Point of Contact Handling incoming calls with professionalism and empathy. Communicating daily with families, professionals, and colleagues. Managing referrals promptly and accurately. Welcoming visitors and creating a positive first impression of Kids. Keeping the Team Running Smoothly Drafting letters, reports, agreements, and other documents. Maintaining organised filing systems and ensuring documentation is up to date. Supporting diary management, room bookings, and meeting arrangements. Managing office supplies and ordering stock. Assisting with housekeeping and general office duties. Taking minutes when required. Handling petty cash and basic financial administration. Providing cover for the Office Manager when needed. What You’ll Bring: We’re looking for someone positive, proactive, and ready to contribute to a busy, friendly team. You’ll need: Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office. Previous admin or secretarial experience. A confident and welcoming telephone manner. Experience in customer service, reception, or frontline communication. Excellent organisation and time-management skills. Ability to prioritise a busy workload. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Discretion, reliability, and the ability to handle sensitive information. A flexible, team-focused approach. (Desirable) Understanding of the needs of disabled children and families.
