Job Title: Case Maintenance Team Leader – Nightshift
Location: Wrexham – North Wales
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: £29,981.25 per annum
Working Pattern: Monday & Tuesday 8pm – 8am; Tuesday & Wednesday 8pm – 7:30am
Job Purpose
The purpose of this role is to carry out planned refrigeration case maintenance programme across defined regions in line with agreed SLA and to ensure all work is completed to the highest standards, efficiently and cost‑effectively while complying with the company Health and Safety policy.
Key Accountabilities
* Comply with the Health and Safety at Work Act and the company’s Health and Safety Policy at all times.
* Represent the company professionally and maintain good working relationships with City colleagues and the client.
* Coordinate the activities of the case maintenance team and ensure refrigeration case maintenance schedules are completed within agreed timescales.
* Be aware of regulations and codes of practice applicable to the tasks.
* Conduct merchandising and remerchandising of refrigeration units.
* Utilise chemicals where required.
* Create remedial reports for each PPM and notify the Ops Lead of tasks for action.
* Deliver training to case maintenance technicians.
* Communicate regularly with the Store Management team, providing updates on activity and ensuring sign‑off of completed works.
* Work with the company and the client to ensure that laid‑down standards of quality are always maintained.
* Comply with any other reasonable request or instruction from the company.
* Support the achievement of company KPIs.
* Ensure all systems are working to optimum energy efficiency.
* Provide engineering support where required to provide flexibility to service delivery.
* Maintain equipment, tools and vehicle to ensure they are fit for purpose.
* Attend training courses as and when necessary to keep personal job skills up to date with technical and business developments.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Essential
* Supervision of small teams.
* Positive approach, able to work in a dynamic business environment, and committed to delivering outstanding customer service.
* Ability to work with minimum supervision.
* Degree of flexibility required; may be required to stay away from home.
* Current full driving licence – on occasions required to drive to support the Team Leader.
Desirable
* GCSE standard education.
* Experience of refrigeration equipment.
* Cleaning industry experience.
* PC/iPad literacy – Apple and Android.
