As they continue expanding in the UK, they are seeking an Embedded Software Quality Engineer to ensure the highest standards of software quality on mission‑critical space projects.
£45,000 – £65,000 • Onsite, Farnborough
Key Responsibilities
* Define and uphold software product assurance strategies across satellite software programmes
* Embed quality standards into delivery teams and engineering workflows
* Assess compliance with industry software assurance standards such as ECSS-Q-ST-10C, DO-178B and AS9115
* Develop automated verification testing and pipelines, including resilience, functional and coverage testing
* Support static code analysis, reporting and continuous quality improvement
* Engage directly with customers to present assurance plans and findings
What We're Looking For
* Background working in regulated software environments with focus on test coverage and verification
* Knowledge of software assurance standards (e.g., ECSS-Q-ST-10C, DO-178B, AS9115)
* Experience with static analysis and coverage tools such as CPPCheck, Lint, SonarQube, GCOV, or LDRA
* Familiarity with CI/CD integration (Git/Jenkins), Linux environments, and embedded systems testing
* Solid understanding of QA best practice and defect management platforms like Jira or Redmine
