This role is on a permanent basis and is site-based.

The Role
This role is for a Technical Lead - Stress—someone ambitious and ready to make an impact. You'll be results-oriented and driven to succeed. You'll be leading a small, experienced, and collaborative team, and be responsible for:
* Finite Element Analysis methods
* Calculation reviews
* Modelling
* Assist in achieving business targets
The Individual
We're looking for people who can show:
* Transferable skills from highly regulated sectors
* Expertise in fatigue, fracture, thermal, and structural stress assessments using finite element analysis
* Finite Element analysis in ABAQUS
* CRACKEN or alternative fracture assessment
* Familiar with the Gated review process
* Code assessment to ASME B&PVC and R6; RCC-M
* Knowledge of structural integrity & defect tolerance assessments
* Python scripting in the ABAQUS environment is desirable
* Fatigue crack growth & initiation experience is desirable
