Role summary:
This role will require the candidate to successfully interact with wide stakeholder group. Critical to the role is a strong agile and collaborative approach, working well across many diverse groups and balancing outcomes that help drive capability perfection but also FTSE Russell goals.
What you’ll be doing:
* Present data in a clear, business-relevant format to senior collaborators
* Lead budgeting, forecasting, and spend management for the technology organisation, ensuring visibility and fiscal difficulty
* Provide insights on investment allocation, cost optimization, and resource planning (FTE, vendor, and technology spend)
* Supervise financial performance and partner with Finance to support audits, regulatory reviews, and reporting requirements
* Establish and maintain operating cadences, including business reviews, leadership meetings, performance dashboards, and progress tracking
* Implement standards, processes, metrics, and governance frameworks to improve efficiency and consistency across the organization.
* Coordinate key technology initiatives, cross-functional programs, and organizational transformation efforts from planning through delivery
* Prepare executive presentations, narratives, cases, and board-level materials
* Serve as a liaison between technology leadership and internal partners (Finance, HR, Legal, Ops, Risk, etc.)
* Drive workforce planning, hiring forecasts, capacity modelling, and talent initiatives in partnership with HR or equivalent experience
* Support culture-building, engagement, and organizational-design efforts to scale the technology function
* Lead or support change-management initiatives related to new processes, tools, or organizational structures
What you'll bring:

* Ability to connect with diverse audiences, ranging from highly technical partners to business clients

* Excellent organisational, negotiation, presentation, and time management skills; ability to manage business expectations:

* Extensive experience in product ownership / technology / transformation / business management
* Experience with Agile delivery and transformation
* Strong financial literacy, including budgeting, forecasting, cost allocation, and vendor/contract management
