The post holder will be responsible on a day to day basis for ensuring a high standard of Cleaning Services in accordance with Soft Facilities Work Specifications, Performance Standards and Operational Policies. They will be required to undertake portering and first line maintenance duties, to provide support and supervision for all Soft Facilities staff and to act on behalf of the Assistant Operations Manager.
Main duties of the job
We currently have a vacancy for a Facilities Operational Team Leader to be responsible for the supervision of cleaning, portering and first line maintenance in Cardigan Integrated Care Centre. We need to recruit enthusiastic and committed individuals who are hardworking, motivated, forward thinking and innovative.
The post is demanding and the ideal candidate will have relevant experience in the field of large scale cleaning operations. The successful candidates will be required to work between the hours of 7am and 4pm, but the ability to work flexibly as required will be essential.

* City and Guilds 7643 parts 1 and 2 or equivalent knowledge/experience (including COPC/CPSS)
* ILM Level 3 Award in First Line Management or equivalent knowledge / experience
* Detailed Health & Safety, COSHH, Moving and Handling knowledge
* Coaching/Training Certificate
* Supervisory Training
* IOSH Certificate
* Healthcare Associated Infection Champion
* Good knowledge of HTMs and statutory requirements
* Any formal engineering courses
