Job Purpose: • The business analyst role acts as an ambassador for Technology Solutions between stakeholders and the developer and delivery teams. • To review and analyse the current and proposed digital technology solutions and to consider and recommend options for improvement. Assessing overall effectiveness of these solutions and devising solutions to problems or to address new needs. Person Specification You will: • The role would benefit from a good working knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Microsoft DevOps. • The role would benefit from a foundation knowledge of Prince 2 project management standards for successful delivery of projects • Presentation and speaking skills essential, and the ability to use project management tools such as Microsoft Project or SmartSheet online project management tools • A patient and “customer first” manner essential for this role, and being prepared to go the extra mile in order to complete the task on time, and to high standard • Familiarity with industry technology systems to gather data and problem solve • Supply chain partner management • A proactive and “can do” approach is key to the successful outcome for the department and this role. • Prioritisation and planning is a key feature of this role, and the role requires that the individual should be able to manage their time to provide successful outcomes per the department KPI’s • The successful employee in this role, will be one that is recognised for the above skills and traits Some UK travel will be required for this role It may be necessary to achieve SC or DV clearance for this role.
