Your Role As a General Assembly Apprentice, you will gain hands-on experience across a variety of manufacturing and assembly techniques while working towards a Level 3 Engineering Technician qualification with a local College. This is a 42-month apprenticeship programme, combining on-the-job training with classroom-based learning. What you'll be doing: - Completing rotational placements across manufacturing and repair areas - Learning to produce and refurbish aerospace components and assemblies - Interpreting engineering drawings and planning work activities - Developing skills in assembly, inspection, testing, balancing and winding - Working to aerospace quality standards and internal processes - Operating machinery in line with standard operating procedures - Following all health & safety requirements - Contributing to team performance and continuous improvement Additional programme details: - Years 1-3: 1 day per week at College, 4 days onsite in Pitstone - Exposure to support functions including Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, Product Industrialisation and Logistics - Assigned mentor and buddy for ongoing support - Regular reviews with college, management, mentor and HR But what else?
