We’re looking for a motivated Commercial Welcome Manager to lead our welcome and commercial operations at Fell Foot. This is a unique opportunity to play a vital role in delivering exceptional visitor experiences while driving income that supports our work caring for special places, for everyone, for ever. Hours: 1950 hours a year. This role is based on annualised hours, where the amount of hours you work each month may vary, however your salary will be paid in 12 equal instalments over the year. Salary: 26,793 a year Duration: This is a fixed term contract due to end when the postholder returns to the role. At this point we cannot confirm exactly how long this contract will last, but it is unlikely to be more than 14 months. What you'll be doing Playing a key role in the property leadership team and contributing to wider engagement activities, you’ll lead a small to medium-sized commercial operation, which will include Food & Beverage and Welcome services. You’ll inspire and develop a high-performing team of staff and volunteers, ensuring consistently excellent service and presentation standards. You’ll be responsible for delivering a warm and inclusive welcome to all our visitors, achieving ambitious financial targets and optimising income through effective planning and commercial insight. Compliance with health & safety, food safety, and other relevant legislation will be a key element to your role, embedding our values and service culture across the team. Collaborating with property teams to connect our commercial offer with our conservation purpose, you’ll be leading on seasonal campaigns, product knowledge, and upselling to enhance the visitor experience.
