Join us as a Customer Service Assistant and make an invaluable contribution to our Food Safety & Biosecurity!
As a customer service assistant you will be part of a dedicated PTG Customer Service Team, who support the ordering of Proficiency Testing services from a 3000+ international customer base. You will be carrying out order processing and corresponding with both direct customers and international agents by email.
What you’ll be doing:
* Monitor the fapas info and fapas agents email accounts, answering or forwarding orders or technical queries as required.
* Enter, check and make amendments to orders for proficiency tests and test materials sales.
* Raise prepayment invoicing & release paid orders.
* Maintain the database on current and new customers.
* Provide administrative support to the rest of the group, including minute taking in meetings.
What we’re looking for:
* You will have experience working in a customer facing role or environment.
* Strong communication skills; both verbally and written, as well as professional email etiquette.
* The ability to work as part of a team, at pace and under time constraints.
* Understanding of MS Office applications and databases.
* Knowledge of finance systems and invoicing would be desirable but not essential.
* Experience working within Quality Systems is desirable.
