Pupil Support Assistant Holy Cross Primary and Early Years & Childcare Salary: £25,905-£26,111 (pro rata for part time and sessional) Hours: 20 hours per week, 39 weeks sessional Would you like to be part of our nursery team, at Holy Cross Primary School. Our PSA's work in partnership with the teachers with P1-P7 pupils. The staff work with groups or 1:1 pupils to ensure that we meet the needs of all our pupils. It is important that everyone feels part of our Holy Cross Primary School team. Staff are included and involved in decisions about the school and the way we work to support our pupils. We are looking for hard-working individual to join our dynamic staff team who have excellent experience of working within the school setting and can demonstrate their ability to provide a high-quality service with enthusiasm and creativity. This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check. An unconditional offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both these pre-employment checks being deemed satisfactory.
