Position Overview
Metro Rod Bournemouth is looking for dedicated and technically skilled individuals to develop their engineering careers within the sector and to provide exceptional service to our valued, high‑profile customers. This role involves providing a wide range of emergency and contracted services to commercial and domestic customers, and working with a structured training path.
What’s involved?
* Carry out a range of services associated with tankers, cleaning, clearance, repair and maintenance of customers’ drains
* Deliver an exceptional standard of customer service and technical expertise
* Work in accordance with H&S and Quality Assurance procedures
* Maintain your branded company service vehicle and equipment to the highest standards
* Accurately record work/job details via internal/client systems and applications
* Communicate effectively with clients and Metro Rod Support Centre colleagues to ensure excellent customer service at all times
* Commit to a 24/7 and 365 service provider – this may involve participation in on‑call rotas or occasional unsociable hours
What do we look for?
* Minimum of 2 years experience in drainage
* High‑pressure water jetting experience
* CSCS certification
* Experience with CCTV surveys and lining is an advantage
* Positive, flexible, can‑do attitude
* Willing to work occasional/unsociable hours
* Full UK driving licence
* Must live in the Dorset area
