This is an important leadership role for a subject matter expert in social housing. We're looking for someone who understands the complexities of rent debt management, rent setting, debt performance, housing law and regulatory expectations, and can confidently lead a team to deliver outstanding results.

* Improving performance - using data and insight to challenge, innovate, and continuously improve service delivery.
* Developing a high‑performing team - coaching and empowering colleagues to deliver excellent outcomes.
* Handling complexity - supporting the resolution of escalated and complex rent‑related cases.
* Shaping strategy delivery - working closely with the Operations Manager to deliver our vision, Housing Made Simple, with a focus on simplicity, compliance, and customer experience.
* This role is about more than management—you will set standards, drive accountability, and embed a performance‑focused culture.
What we're looking for
* Experience in social housing rent debt collection, with strong technical knowledge of housing law and best practice.
* A track record of leading high‑performing teams and improving service outcomes.
* Proven ability to drive performance through data, insight, and accountability.
* Confidence to act as a recognised expert and decision‑maker in complex rent matters.
* Experience delivering continuous improvement and influencing wider organisational direction.
* Strong coaching and leadership skills, with the ability to challenge, support, and develop others.
Essential
* Social housing experience in a rents or income‑focused role.
* Full UK driving licence.
* GCSE (or equivalent) and willingness to work towards CIH Level 4 (if not already held).
The difference you'll make
This is your opportunity to own and shape a core service, influence how rent debt is managed across the organisation, and ensure we deliver a service that is compliant, efficient, and genuinely works for our customers.
If you're a rent expert who thrives on accountability, leadership, and driving results, we'd love to hear from you.
What we can offer
In return for your hard work, we offer a competitive salary of £47,917.60 per annum and a benefits package that includes:

* Access to the Flagship Rewards Scheme offering savings on groceries and VIP rewards.
* Death in Service Benefit.
* Company Sick Pay.
* An agile working environment to achieve a healthy work/life balance.
* Opportunities for development (including apprenticeships, our Academy, and various training options).
* Health and well‑being programs and initiatives.
* Empowerment (we give you the tools and systems to make the right decisions for resolving issues).
* A Leadership Team that inspires, develops, and supports you.
