About The Role
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full time
Hours of Work: 40 hours per week, working 5 out of 7 days per week
As Production Manager, you’ll support the day‑to‑day running of our feed production site, working closely with teams across milling, maintenance, transport, and logistics. You’ll help ensure our products meet customer expectations, our site operates safely and efficiently, and our people feel supported and empowered.
Key Responsibilities Include
* Supporting safe and compliant site operations, including health, safety, and wellbeing
* Contributing to the delivery of high‑quality feed products and smooth production planning
* Building strong relationships across teams and supporting staff development
* Assisting with maintenance coordination and environmental compliance
* Managing stock control and supporting logistics to meet customer needs
* Providing operational data for performance reporting and continuous improvement
* Deputising for the Site Operations Manager when required
About You
* Experience in a production or manufacturing environment, ideally in feed milling or agriculture
* Strong understanding of health & safety, quality, and environmental compliance
* Proven background in driving continuous improvement and delivering operational excellence.
* Skilled in team support, coaching, and operational planning
* Confident using digital systems and interpreting operational data
* Proactive, resilient, and collaborative with a practical mindset
