Plumber - Social Housing Repairs
Location: Rotherham (Swanage Court, S60 1BX)
Pay: £14.50 - £17.50/hour (PAYE only, no umbrella)
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00-16:30 (40 hrs/week)
Contract: Temporary (ASAP start until April 30, 2026)
About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Plumber to carry out reactive repairs in social housing properties across Rotherham. You'll work independently, delivering high-quality repairs and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
* Complete plumbing repairs and maintenance in tenanted properties.
* Carry out multi-skilled tasks where possible (e.g., tap replacements, bath panels, basic tiling).
* Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards.
* Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with the team.
Requirements
* NVQ Level 2 or above in Plumbing (Level 3 preferred).
* CSCS card (Plumbing).
* Basic DBS check (required before start).
* Full UK driving licence.
* Experience with plastic and copper systems, wet systems, and domestic repairs.
* Multi-skilled experience is an advantage.
