Position Description
The Space, Defence and Intelligence business unit in CGI is a true IT Systems Integrator, building and operating high‑complex, mission‑critical systems. As a DevOps Engineer you will lead Kubernetes deployments, automate CI/CD pipelines, and ensure secure‑by‑design infrastructure across multiple platforms.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee and manage Kubernetes platforms for development and production environments.
* Deploy and support Kubernetes on RKE2, EKS, Tanzu, and OpenShift.
* Automate and monitor CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, and CloudFormation.
* Implement and monitor security best practices to maintain resilient infrastructure.
* Monitor performance metrics across all nodes and proactively resolve issues.
* Collaborate with senior leads and mentor junior engineers in DevOps and Kubernetes practices.
Required Qualifications
* Proven DevOps experience with strong Linux and container platform skills.
* Deep understanding of Kubernetes and experience with K8S, K3S, EKS, AKS, RKE2, and OpenShift.
* Solid background in infrastructure management, virtualization, and network configuration.
* Familiarity with security best practices, including working in secured or air‑gap environments.
* Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Bonus Skills
* Proficiency with GitLab and Jenkins.
* Experience with Ansible, Terraform, or CloudFormation for infrastructure automation.

* Competitive salary range: $130,000 – $180,000 (USD).
