The Research Nurse will play a vital hands-on role in delivering clinical trials at a dedicated EMS mobile research unit in Manchester on a 3 year fixed term contract until October 2028. Working under the direction of the Senior Research Nurse, Site Manager, you will be primarily responsible for conducting participant visits in accordance with the study protocol, ensuring a high standard of care and data integrity.
This role involves a strong clinical and participant-facing component and will suit someone with experience in research nursing who is looking to further develop their expertise in a supportive team environment. You will help facilitate screening, enrolment, assessments, and ongoing participant care as part of an obesity-focused research study.
The successful candidate will be a patient-centred professional with strong clinical knowledge and a commitment to good clinical practice.
Requirements
Experience - Essential
* Registered Nurse with active NMC registration.
* Previous experience working in clinical research or trial delivery.
* Confident performing standard nursing procedures in a research or outpatient setting.
* Understanding of ICH-GCP and the clinical research process.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Organised, methodical, and detail-oriented approach to documentation and care.
Experience – Preferable
* Experience working in community or mobile healthcare settings.
* Familiarity with studies involving obesity, metabolic health, or lifestyle interventions.
* Proficient with electronic data capture systems or clinical databases.

Other Requirements
