We are recruiting compassionate and reliable Care Assistants to join our dedicated team in Buxton. This role supports elderly residents, many living with age-related conditions such as Alzheimer’s and dementia. You will assist with daily needs, mobility, personal hygiene, nutritional care, and maintain a clean, safe environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Support residents with daily needs (mobility, personal hygiene, nutritional care)
* Maintain a clean and safe environment through general housekeeping duties
* Monitor and report changes in residents' conditions and promptly communicate incidents to senior staff
* Adhere to health and safety regulations and safeguarding procedures at all times
Required Qualifications
* Enhanced DBS Certificate registered on the update service
* Up-to-date mandatory training certificates
* Full up-to-date CVAt least two professional references covering a minimum of two years within formal care settings or community care
Additional Support
* We can assist with obtaining a DBS and provide subsidised online training; certificates remain yours to keep
Working Hours and Pay
Working hours: 07:00 to 14:30, with availability on various days. Pay: £12.71 per hour, rising to £13.33 per hour after 13 weeks.
