The Role
1. Develop and implement a business development strategy aligned to company objectives
2. Create and deliver a sales strategy to grow the client base and increase revenue
3. Research and review market trends to identify new business and client opportunities
4. Identify underserved or new markets for existing services
5. Attend industry events and networking opportunities to promote the company and build relationships
6. Collaborate with the Marketing Executive and wider business to execute campaigns and growth initiatives
7. Provide directors with regular reports and insight on activity, progress and performance
8. Monitor and analyse competitor activity and evolving industry trends
The Candidate
9. Minimum 5 years’ experience in a business development role within motor insurance or automotive fleet
10. Proven track record of managing and growing relationships with clients, brokers and stakeholders
11. Strong negotiation and influencing skills with excellent written and verbal communication
12. Existing network of contacts within the motor insurance sector
13. Strong market analysis and commercial acumen
14. Confident self-starter, adaptable to a fast-paced and evolving industry
15. Committed to delivering excellent customer service and client satisfaction
