Westminster Surgery is seeking to appoint a part‑time salaried General Practitioner to join our team of three salaried GPs for four sessions per week (Wednesdays & Thursdays, two sessions per day, full days). We care for a patient list of approximately 3,800.
Within the contract, GPs receive four hours of CPD time per week (pro‑rata) for professional development, audits, service transformation and more. There are opportunities to take a lead role such as PCN lead, safeguarding, prescribing, sepsis lead, etc.
Your clinical supervision will be provided by our Clinical Director Dr Rajan Rajesh, who also works as a GP within Westminster Surgery. Peer supervision with medical colleagues at CWP’s other GP surgeries is also available and encouraged.
Based in Ellesmere Port, we have a practice population of 3,800 and are an active member of One Ellesmere Port PCN, together with five other local surgeries. Our practice team comprises a Deputy Practice Manager, two Salaried GPs, two Advanced Clinical Practitioners, a Minor Illness Nurse, a Practice Nurse, an HCA, a Clinical Pharmacist, a Pharmacy Technician, a GPA, a Care Coordinator, a Mental Health worker and an experienced admin team. We work closely with our community care team, holding regular MDT meetings. As part of CWP, we are supported by safeguarding and medicines‑management teams, mental health colleagues and children, young people and families colleagues.
