Experienced MEPH Lead to join the fit-out division of a leading Main Contractor. This is a key role overseeing 23 projects at any one time across a diverse portfolio, including commercial, healthcare, and retail schemes, typically valued at under £10M. A mechanical bias is preferred, but not essential. This position offers the opportunity to take ownership of service installations across multiple projects, while also developing towards building and managing a team, with the long-term vision of bringing an assistant on board. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage all Mechanical, Electrical, Public Health, and associated services installations across multiple live projects. Coordinate and manage Services Contractors and wider supply chain partners to deliver works in line with client requirements and programme. Review and interpret specifications and design drawings, providing input and ensuring compliance with project requirements. Analyse project data, identify critical sequences, and allocate resources effectively. Oversee design development at sketch, detailed, and production stages where required. Manage and facilitate the flow of information between the Design Team, Consultants, and Services Subcontractors. Chair services coordination meetings and attend client progress meetings, providing updates and technical input. Oversee subcontractor procurement routes, review technical submittals, and track progress. Inspect, assess, and oversee testing and commissioning of MEPH systems on site. Ensure all project documentation and Safety File data is submitted accurately and on time. Qualifications & Experience: Degree, diploma, or trade qualification in Building Services / Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related discipline). Minimum 5 years experience working with a Building Services Contractor or Main Contractor. Strong knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, Public Health, Sprinklers, and associated systems. Excellent technical understanding combined with strong communication and leadership skills. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Professional, self-motivated, and able to take initiative.
