We are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Manager to take a hands-on leadership role in our Early Detection & Intervention business unit. You will lead two of the squads building our flagship product, Monitor, which helps keep children safe at school, at home, and everywhere in between.
In this role, you will lead two distinct engineering teams. The first team owns the customer-facing experience of Monitor, building the tools that empower safety leads to receive alerts, review incidents, and take action on safeguarding concerns. The second team is responsible for the client-side application that runs directly on childrens devices.
Ensure Predictable, High-Quality Delivery: In collaboration with the Product team, youll negotiate the balance between shipping new features, managing quality, and mitigating risk. Drive Technical and Architectural Strategy: Work in close partnership with Product Management to own the "how" of building and scaling Monitor. Youll make key architectural decisions to evolve our systems, ensuring seamless integration between the childrens devices and the safety lead dashboards.
Cultivate healthy, engaged, and highly effective engineering squads. You will act as a trusted leader across your two teams, developing talent and fostering a culture of technical excellence and ownership.
Proven experience as an Engineering Manager, leading teams in the design, delivery, and operation of complex, distributed systems.
A forward-thinking approach to engineering, with the ability to champion and integrate AI-driven tooling into the teams daily development lifecycle.
