Serco Limited – Customer Service Assistant
Location: NorthLink Ferries, Stromness, KW16 3BH
Contract: Part time, 16 hours (x4 evening shifts per week – 8pm-12am)
Salary: £26,928.88 (Pro rata)
Responsibilities
* Make customer reservations by telephone, email and in person.
* Assist in check-in and boarding of passengers and perform security duties.
* Provide high-quality customer service to passengers within a busy terminal environment.
* Work as part of a team to support the effective running of the department.
* Adhere to the business’s Health, Safety and Environment Serco Policy.
Qualifications & Attributes
* Customer-facing experience and a good standard of communication with the public and team members.
* Confidence in using a phone and computer system.
* Good organisational skills and a can-do attitude with initiative and ownership, including personal development.
* Ability to follow standards and demonstrate commitment to Serco’s Values of Trust, Care, Innovation and Pride.
